Mohinder stared intently at the computer screen his agile fingers flying over the keyboard. He was so immersed in his work that he didn't hear his lover approach from behind until he heard a soft low chuckle in his ear. He froze, his fingers flailing over the keyboard.

Sylar's breath was warm against his neck as he chuckled once more. "E-Bay?" He questioned, a hint of amusement in his voice as he leaned in further and gazed at the computer screen. "Why Dr. Suresh- I had no idea."

Mohinder flushed, his cheeks warming as he quickly slammed the laptop close. "It's nothing," he stammered, flushing even more as he turned his chair around into Sylar's awaiting arms.

"Nothing?" He mused, enjoying the sight of his flushed lover. "Is there something you need to tell me?" He questioned as he reached out and ran his fingers lightly over Mohinder's bare chest, lazily drawing circles around his nipples.

Mohinder swallowed, shaking his head. "No," he inhaled as Sylar leaned forward, ghosting his lips over his own.

"No?" He repeated, increasing his ministrations as his fingers trailed further down his lover's chest.

Mohinder gasped, his eyes fluttering close as he leaned his forehead against his lover's. "Sylar," he moaned reaching out and pulling him closer, kissing him.

The kiss started off soft and tender and grew into something deeper, hungrier. "Mohinder," Sylar groaned as he melted into his embrace and straddled him in his chair, it rocked dangerously at the additional weight, but neither took notice. "I should interrupt your work more often," he teased lightly as he nipped at his lips, loving as Mohinder flushed once more.

Mohinder moaned, wrapping his arms around Sylar's body, deepening the kiss once more with a flick of his tongue. Parting a few minutes later as the need to breathe overwhelmed them.

Smirking against Mohinder's parted lips, Sylar lifted the lid of the laptop with a flick of his fingers as he distracted his lover with another kiss. He swiftly glanced behind Mohinder and froze as the computer blinked to life, showing him the page Mohinder was hiding from him just a moment ago- it was an e-Bay listing for an antique Sylar pocket watch, it was one of a kind. His heart constricted with a joy he didn't think was possible and he quickly returned his gaze to Mohinder's, searching him, "I- wow, Mo-"

"Sylar!" Mohinder hissed as he realized what he was mumbling about and attempted to push him away. "It was supposed to be a surprise, for Christmas. I don't even know if-"

Sylar smiled brightly at him and kissed him once more, drawing in Mohinder's breath as his own, thanking him in the only way he knew how.

Mohinder moaned, smiling meekly at him as they parted once more. "Refresh the page- the auction is almost over."

He nodded, refreshing the page with a few clicks on the mouse with his telekinesis. "No," Sylar groaned as he stared at the screen.

"What?" Mohinder questioned as he twisted in his seat to see that he had lost the bid and cursed under his breath. There was only a few seconds remaining and he knew there was no way he could offer another bid and win. "I'm-"

"You know," Sylar grumbled under his breath. "If you had let me kill the bratty-"

"Sylar," He stressed, his lips thinning as Sylar shrugged his shoulders and pulled away.

"One touch and we would have won!" He protested, crossing his arms over his chest. "Such a great power wasted on-"

"Sylar." Mohinder snapped and he simply stared at him in return.

"I'm going out." Sylar suddenly announced, slipping away with such agility that it made Mohinder smile.

Mohinder refreshed the page once more and he instantly recognized the e-Bay handle as Micah Sanders, the brat Sylar had referred to only moments ago as the winner. He instantly recalled the conversation with the teen, only a week ago when he found the listing of the watch. It was a contingency plan, just in case, and he was thrilled that he thought to set it up- it was the perfect gift for his lover and there was no way he was going to lose.

His eyes widened as the screen flashed to the familiar blank blue screen.

>Did U see?

Mohinder chuckled, smiling brightly as he responded to Micah's message.

>>Yes.

>Coo. Ttyl, doc

The screen blinked and returned back before he could respond. "Thank you, Micah." He whispered under his breath hoping that Sylar was far away enough. He glanced at the Christmas tree and smiled, unable to wait until Sylar opened the gift on Christmas day. It was perfect.
