S1 - The White Room |
| Author's Note |
Follows along Season 2 but drifts off into my little world,
when Kyle learns about his haunted past. |
I could hear the birds chirping and feel the heat of the morning sun
penetrate my skin. The morning had come and I was not ready for it.
I squeezed my eyes shut, hoping that everyone would find it in their
hearts to leave me alone.
"Kyle?" Tess purred. "I know you're up."
I slowly opened my eyes and looked over at the beautiful blonde in
front of me. She looked radiant as she flashed me her sexy 'come hither'
smile. "What time is it?" I managed to ask as I sat up.
"Seven," she replied, sitting down next to me.
"Is there something that you wanted?" I asked softly noticing
that she was wearing my faded old jersey and all I wanted to do was
to lean over and kiss her. Be strong, I reminded myself.
"Isabel's coming over soon."
"It's only seven."
"I know. I thought you might want to try sleeping in my bed while
she was over."
"Thanks," I replied with a nod. "Care to join me?"
I whispered under my breath as I grabbed my blanket and headed off
to my old room.
I crawled into the bed, sighing softly. The pillow smelled like her
and I couldn't help myself from taking a deep breath as her sweet
lilac scent washed over me. I took the pillow in my arms and held
it close to me as I drifted off to sleep.
"Kyle!" My father's voice pierced the silence and I turned
away.
"Yes?" I mumbled with my eyes still closed. What was with
every one waking me up this morning?
"We have to talk! Get out of bed, NOW!" My father commanded
and I quickly jumped out of the bed.
"What is it?" I asked sheepishly, not wanting to provoke
his harsh attitude.
"We are running out of time and I am tired of playing the nice
guy to the Fucking Royal Four!"
"What?" I yelled as my seemingly happy little world shattered.
"You heard me! Where is the Granolith?" My father yelled
as he started pacing the room.
"I-"
"I took this mission, I conned my way into the lives of the precious
Royal Four and we're getting nowhere. Time is running out and you
have to take your rightful place!"
"Dad?"
"Let's get something straight. I am not your father. I am your
protector. I am to keep you safe from the Royal Four!" My father,
no - my protector - oh, whatever he was, yelled.
"What?" I cried, my mind spinning with questions.
"You don't remember, do you?" he asked, leaning into me.
The man that looked at me was not my father, he was different - his
eyes expressed such hate and fear. "Let me show you," he
replied as he placed his hand on my head.
The sensation I felt was unbelievable! The colors blurred, taking
shape across a dark horizon. The sky turned into a shade of light
murky green, the fields red and black, soldiers were lying in the
fields crying out for their loved ones as their spirits evaporated
into the atmosphere.
A setting of death and destruction, of war, crowded my senses. Images
of war, death and dying bombarded me, "Stop!" I cried out
in agony to my father. Wanting, needing him to stop the images that
threatened me.
The setting around me dissolved back into the familiar surroundings
of my room. "The war was Max's doing. When he lost and died in
battle, they sent him here to be reborn, to come back."
"I don't understand why you are telling me?! I had nothing to
do with that life!" I cried as my body began to tremble.
"You had everything to do with that life! You are the rightful
king, the true heir. You are Khivar and Max's twin brother!"
As his words echoed in my head, I suddenly felt dizzy and lightheaded.
The world blurred in front of my eyes.
~
"Kyle?" I heard Tess call out and I slowly opened my eyes.
"Are you going to sleep all day?" I blinked in response.
Was it a nightmare, had I lost my mind?
A few days had passed by uneventfully and my father acted like nothing
had ever occurred. Maybe it was a nightmare - or maybe I'm going crazy.
I started to watch the Royal Four like a hawk.
Yep, it's official.
I had gone crazy.
~
I have to talk with someone before someone decides to check me into
the loony bin. The last few days I have avoided everyone and talked
to no one. I even live with Tess and I managed to keep my distance.
"Who can I talk with?" I whispered to myself as I continued
to roam the halls at school. Well the Royal Four was out. Maria would
freak and tell Michael, she's out. Liz would want to take a rational
approach and then turn to Max, she's out. Alex, he- he's perfect.
He would be in the band room and I was headed in the wrong direction.
I stopped and turned around as a hand pulled me into a vacant room.
I looked around the familiar surroundings of the eraser room. I quickly
turned to see Tess melt the lock. "You are not going
anywhere, until you tell me what is going on!" she yelled.
I looked up at her, intrigued. "I don't feel like it!" I
muttered as she closed the distance between us.
"I do have my ways," she purred.
I can be strong. She doesn't affect me.
Ah, hell. I could feel my stomach flip flop with anticipation. I have
always dreamt of this event.
Her lips softly touched mine, our first kiss and I wanted more.
We embraced and our kiss deepened. I never felt so complete; the lights
flickered as she pushed me against the wall and I moaned with desire.
I liked this interrogation.
"Ohh, Khivar," she moaned, "I've missed you."
"What?!" I cried pushing her away. She just smiled back
as her hand traveled down my chest to the tip of my pants.
"Tess," I whispered, she sure did have her ways-
I was lost, my head was spinning and my heart was pounding. She had
me, I would do anything for her.
Her touch radiated through my body. The feeling was new and yet so
familiar.
I needed her.
I loved her.
"Do you remember now?" she asked softly as I gasped at the
touch of her lips against mine.
"I-"
"Shh- my love, soon we will be back together," she whispered
as she kissed me one more time. She pulled away and I simply watched
her leave, feeling stunned and overwhelmed by the latest events.
My lips burned. I felt lost, confused.
I had to find Alex.
I stormed into the band room to find him putting away his guitar.
"We need to talk!"
"Oh, so you have decided to talk to us?" Alex remarked with
a twinkle in his eyes. "I wondered how long you would keep avoiding
us."
"I need you to promise me that what I tell you will not leave
your lips!" I interrupted as Alex snapped to attention.
"Kyle, we are best buds. Whatever you have to tell me will be
kept in confidence."
"If I'm not crazy, then I've been dropped kicked to the curb,"
I admitted, looking around, feeling exposed. "Can we talk somewhere
more private?"
Alex nodded and we walked in silence to my car. We got in and I drove
to the edge of town.
"What do you know about Khivar?" I finally asked softly
as I turned off the engine and got out of the car. I needed to walk
around.
"The truth or what they've told us?" Alex asked, his voice
stern and hard. I looked at him with intrigue. What did he mean by
that?
"The truth," I manage to whisper back as my heart skipped
a beat.
"Are you sure?" he asked, taking a seat on a deserted log.
I froze. What did he know? It can't be that bad, can it?
"Yes." I sighed and took a seat beside my best friend.
"I suppose I should start at the beginning," Alex remarked
as he began to tell the full and detailed history of Khivar. I listened
intently as my heart continued to pound.
My hands started to sweat.
It wasn't a dream.
"Okay," I paused trying to grasp unto the truth. "Zan
a.k.a. Max and Khivar were twin brothers. Khivar was the first born
and therefore the rightful heir, but since the King was unable to
produce an heir he had the Queen impregnated by his second in command.
"The twins were close and did everything together, but as they
grew a jealousy also brewed between them.
"This jealousy began when their father started favoring and giving
Max everything he wanted and shunned Khivar. All because Khivar was
the spitting image of the second in command." I rambled on repeating
what Alex had said.
"That's the beginning," Alex replied as he looked over at
me. "Do you remember anything, Khivar?"
"I don't."' I began as I realized what name he used. "How?
How do you know about me and my history?" I screamed, jumping
off the log.
"I never went to Sweden." Alex replied softly as I looked
at him with shock. "I was your second in command, part of the
Royal Four."
I couldn't believe this. Everything I knew was a lie. "How do
I know you're telling the truth?" I asked, trying to calm myself
down. Buddha was definitely not helping.
"In order to reclaim your throne and save your planet, you have
no other choice but to trust me." Alex replied, "We are
not the bad guys."
"I trust you," I replied, sitting back down next to him.
I have no choice.
Alex and I sat in silence. The air around us vibrated with unleashed
energy. Questions raced through my head and Alex waited by my side.
"How did you find out?" I asked softly.
"I found out that I was adopted and I started to go a little
stir crazy. My parents suggested that I talk with the Sheriff."
"What?! Why?" I asked as nervous butterflies raced through
my stomach.
"He apparently helped my parents with the adoption." Alex
replied, his voice drifting off as he recalled the past.
"And?" I urged him to continue.
"I went to him and I asked him about it." Alex paused as
he continued to stare into the distant horizon. "Then he told
me that I was not ready for the truth and I demanded that he tell
me!!" Alex shouted as he stood up and started pacing.
"Let me guess, he told you that you were an alien and that you
were sent here to help me regain my throne," I stated bitterly,
only half-joking.
"Exactly," Alex replied and looked into my eyes. "It's
time," he whispered.
I looked at him as he approached me, his eyes searching my mind. I
could feel him invading my mind, unraveling the distant memories.
Everything around us evaporated. We were back in the fields of my
earlier vision. The war and destruction was all around us.
"This is where he killed you," Alex replied softly.
"Who?" I asked softly, knowing that deep down I already
knew.
"Zan."
~
I opened the door to the house. "Hello?" I called out as
I walked through the house, not finding anyone home.
"How strange," I mumbled to myself. It is close to six,
everyone should be home.
As I walked back into the kitchen I noticed a little note stuck to
the fridge.
"Kyle and Tess, went out with Amy. Left money on the table for
pizza. Don't wait up!"
I quickly looked over at the table to see a fresh twenty-dollar bill.
Wasting no time I walked over to the phone and called the local pizza
place.
"Hi, I'd like a delivery."
"Hey, Tess. The usual?"
"That would be great."
"It will be there in about thirty minutes."
"Thanks."
We call them way too much.
I grabbed a soda and headed for the couch. "Kyle? Where are you!"
I voiced in frustration. It's my fault. He's avoiding me, again. I
came on way too strong.
He's not ready.
"Ugh!"
Flipping through the channels, I stopped on some teen flick when I
heard the doorbell. "Yes, pizza!"
I grabbed the money and walked to the door. "Just a second,"
I called as I opened the door. "Alex?" I asked in shock,
expecting to see the delivery man.
"Tess." Alex replied, his face pale and drained of emotions.
I looked him over as I noticed Kyle's car in the driveway and no Kyle.
"What happened?" I asked, my heart starting to race. Something's
wrong.
"He knows," Alex replied. That's all I needed to know.
"Everything?" I managed to reply as I backed up, needing
to sit down.
"Almost, he said he needed time to think," Alex replied
as he took a seat beside me. "He is not taking it as well as
I hoped."
"Oh, Alex!" I cried feeling tears come to my eyes. "I
ruined my chances. He probably hates me-"
"Tess, you are the only one he will come to. Trust me."
Alex said softly, trying to console me.
Would he come to me? I needed him and he needed me.
"He will come home," Alex replied as he got up to leave,
answering my question. "Take care of him, we need him."
I nodded and watched him leave.
The pizza came and was left untouched. Hours went by- clouds formed
and rain started to fall.
Where was he?
Feeling tired and stressed, I decided to take a shower. The hot water
felt good as it beat against my tense muscles. "It will be okay,"
I repeated to myself.
I stepped out of the shower and began to towel off as I heard the
door slam.
Kyle!?
I quickly pulled on my robe and ran to the living room. He stood in
the living room soaking wet.
"Kyle?" I asked, walking towards him. He turned towards
me.
"You shouldn't be walking around with wet hair, you'll catch
a cold," he replied softly, his voice light. He lifted his hand
and touched my hair lightly, drying it instantly.
"You shouldn't be talking, you're soaking wet," I replied
softly.
"Adora," he purred as he took me into his embrace and kissed
me. I responded eagerly to his touch, my heart soaring.
He remember us, he remembered me.
"I love you." I whispered into his ear as he picked me up
and took me into my bedroom.
"As I love you," he responded. Memories of the past engulfed
us. The love I felt overwhelmed me. Our passions soared, our bodies
entwined. Lovers united once again...
~
My thoughts drifted back to this evening's events. I had to tell him.
Why me? I still don't understand everything myself.
I'm an alien. I love an alien. Why is everything so complicated!
How am I supposed to tell the woman that I love that we were married
in our former life? That I was framed and executed for killing her
brother Khivar.
How do I tell her she has another brother?
How do I tell her that the so called destiny crap was a lie? That
the hologram from her mother was a form of mind warp?
How do I tell her-
"Alex!"
I turned in the direction of the voice as I saw the one of my dreams
looking at me in shock.
"Isabel?" I replied, realizing her shock was due to me playing
with my stress ball.
"What? How did you do that?" she inquired, pointing to the
puddle of blue goo now on the floor.
"How did you get in?" I asked, avoiding the question.
"Your mother let me in. We had a study date- and don't you try
avoiding my question," Isabel replied, taking a seat on the bed.
"I'm sorry, I forgot about the study date. Something came up."
I replied, still trying to avoid the question. I should just tell
her and get it over with.
"Tell me!"
It was now or never. My heart raced with anticipation.
"Just like you would," I managed to whisper as I turned
the puddle back into a ball.
"What?!"
"I was adopted. I'm not from around here." I tried to explain
as I gazed into her eyes.
"You're an alien?" she asked softly.
"Yes."
"I don't understand."
"Believe me, neither do I," I admitted as I looked over
at her and I yearned to take her into my arms and show her our past.
"Can you tell me?" she whispered as she patted the bed beside
her.
"You won't believe me." I replied as I took a seat beside
her.
"Try me," she purred as she inched closer to me. She looked
beautiful, my princess.
I looked into her eyes as I placed my hand on hers. I took a deep
breath trying to calm my racing heart. I still felt drained form opening
Kyle's link to the past, I wasn't sure if I could open hers.
I wanted to tell her. I needed her to know.
"Vilondra, my love," I whispered as I began to show her
the link to our past.
Our chance meeting, our first kiss, our wedding day-
The death of Khivar and my sentence of death.
I began to pull away as Isabel grabbed onto me and kissed me. She
kissed me!!
The electricity form our kiss vibrated through my body. "Isabel?"
I gasped, pulling away.
"Drejlex," she purred as she pulled me back into her embrace.
"I remember you. I love you-"
The past became present, we were lost in a time, in a place, were
we could be together.
"I love you." I moaned.
"I want you, I need you," she moaned.
The heat intensified, the lights flickered. We were lovers before
and now we were lovers again.
~
I opened my eyes and stretched up against his chest. I felt safe,
complete. Sighing, I glanced over at the clock.
"Oh, no!!" I cried, waking Alex up.
"What?"
"It is four in the morning. My mom is going to kill me,"
I replied as I tried to get up.
"Don't worry." he replied sweetly as he pulled me back into
bed. I sighed in response.
"Okay," I mumbled as he kissed me neck.
"Besides your Mom thinks you're sleeping on the couch. My Mom
gave her a little phone call last night and asked if you could stay
the night, since you fell asleep on the couch and she didn't have
the heart to wake you- your Mom agreed."
"What?" I asked intrigued, how did he manage-
"And my parents think you left hours ago," he whispered.
"You are mine for the night."
"Wow!" I responded, slightly shocked, "how did you
do it?"
"Easy, my parents thought that they saw you leave and wave good
bye. Calling your house was a little bit harder. I am still not very
good at throwing my voice, but Max bought it."
"Max?" I asked, my mood starting to crash.
"He answered the phone, he thought he was talking to my Mom and
then I talked to your mom and it was all settled."
"Interesting," I replied softly as my mind started to race
with questions about Max, about Kyle or should I say Khivar?
"What's on your mind?" Alex asked and I looked at him. I
could feel the heat of the tears as they formed in my eyes.
"Kyle, he's my brother?" I mumbled as the tears started
to trickle down my face. I had another brother.
"Yes."
"I have to go see him!" I replied, pulling myself out of
his arms. "He has to know that I am here for him, he must be
so lost thinking his own family hates him."
"Isabel, it's four am."
"I don't care! I need to see him, now!" I yelled, surprising
myself at the sound of my voice. "Please take me." I pleaded
as I kissed him softly on the lips.
"Okay, but if he kills us it's your fault," he replied as
he stood up. On second thoughts, maybe we should stay in bed.
Isabel, focus, it's time to help your brother.
"Thank you, Drejlex." I whispered.
"Anything for you, my love."
We dressed quickly and sneaked outside to the car. My heart quickened
with anticipation. I was going to see my brother!
"We're here." Alex announced. "We should go through
the bedroom window."
"I thought he slept on the couch..." I replied, slightly
confused.
"Trust me. I know he's with Tess." Alex responded quickly
as he got out of the car. I followed him to Kyle's old bedroom window.
Kyle and Tess? Kyle with Tess? Oh, my.
"They're a couple?" I asked, not remembering this little
detail.
"Yes. We're the Royal Four."
"What?!" I cried. Okay, I knew I missed something earlier.
Damn hormones!
"Shh. We don't want to wake the neighbors." Alex replied.
He's way too calm, he's strong. Oh, I love him.
I watched him as he opened the window and we crawled through. We could
barely make out the couple in the bed.
"Maybe I was wrong, they look peaceful. I don't want to wake
them." I whispered, starting to feel guilty about ruining their
night.
"Isabel?" I heard Tess inquire through a sleep haze.
"Tess, are you up?" I asked as they both began to stir in
bed. "Alex and I are here."
"Isabel?" Kyle asked in a soft voice. Our eyes meet, they
looked so sad. My brother, I'm so sorry.
"Oh!" I cried as I rushed over to him and hugged him. He
flinched in response and I kept on holding him as he melted his resolve
and hugged me back.
"This is wonderful," Tess replied, "but could you two
wait until we're dressed?"
"No, problem we will wait in the living room." Alex responded
as he pulled me away from my brother.
I walked in a daze to the living room with Alex leading the way. "Oh,
Alex," I whispered as I hugged him. "You're the best."
"The one and only," he whispered as he kissed me. Oh, we
should have done this kissing thing sooner.
"Um, hello?" Kyle called out, his eyes lit up with amazement.
The two of them were arm in arm watching us. I couldn't help but blush.
"What brings you over at such an early hour?" Kyle asked
with a light voice as he sat down on the couch with Tess close to
his side.
"You," I managed to say as I sat down beside him. "Alex
told me and I had to come over. I don't fully understand everything-"
I mumbled as Kyle turned to me and placed a hand on mine.
"We'll figure everything out together. I just recently found
out and I don't fully understand myself." Kyle replied softly.
"You're my brother. You will always be able to trust me."
I began to say, trying to think of a way to make him trust me.
"Even though I am Khivar, your mortal enemy?" Kyle interrupted
as he took his hand away from me.
"That's not true! That's a lie!" A voice boomed from across
the room. We all turned to see the Sheriff standing in the door frame.
The four of us just sat there as he walked in. We were frozen in our
spots.
We were scared.
"I'm so happy to see the four of you reunited. It has been a
long time," he replied softly, trying to ease our nerves.
"Will you tell us the full story? I always felt that there was
more to the story then what you told me." Alex spoke up, my hero
once again.
"Yes, It's time."
~
I looked at the four in front of me, they looked like I was about
to bite their heads off or something. I was coming off as the bad
guy. "Who are you exactly?" Kyle asked, his arms
wrapping protectively around Tess. "My name is Jamzair
Oralonaik. I was part of the royal council on my planet, Tulopia.
In a peace keeping mission I brought my two sons to your planet, Antar,
in order to form a new royal council." "Your sons?"
Kyle asked in shock, I nodded in response. I suddenly felt my mouth
go dry.
This was going to be harder then I thought. I looked at my son. "Rath
and- Drejlex are my sons." "What the fuck!!"
Alex cried jumping out of his seat. "Alex! I can explain-"
"How can you explain giving up your son to another couple?
Michael was raised and abused by a maniac!! How could you do that
to us?" Alex yelled. "Oh, my God I have a brother,"
Alex gasped sinking to the floor as Isabel rushed to his side.
"I'm sorry." I managed to reply, my heart aching. It
sounded like a good idea when I accepted the mission. I have alienated
my own sons.
Alex glared at me. "Please continue," he added harshly.
"Alex," I implored. "No. Not now,
please continue." He replied again in that same harsh tone. I
sighed in retreat. My son denied my request, just I hope he can forgive
me in time.
I did it for the good of our planet, both of our planets. I must make
them see that. They have been told so many lies.
They must believe me. "I brought my sons with me to
Antar. I was arranged that they would be apart of the Royal Four.
The Royal Four was to consist of Khivar, Zan, Rath, and Drejlex. It
wasn't long, before it became apparent that Khivar and Zan would never
be able to work together." "Why?" Kyle asked
softly breaking my concentration. "The two of you were
filled with hatred for each other. You did not speak to each other
you yelled at each other. From my understanding the hatred and jealous
stemmed from the rejection of the king. You did not have a father
or a mother to turn to, you did however become close with your sister."
"What happened to my Father?" Kyle asked. I paused
and looked at the brother and sister.
They didn't remember. How was I to tell them?
I took a deep breath and tried to clear my head. I looked at their
innocent eyes in front of me. "The Queen died giving birth to
Vilondra," I managed to say. "The King was furious. He set
up your father and had him executed." I paused as the two gasped
in shock. "He couldn't stand the fact that she continued her
affair with him after the birth of the twins." "The
King was not a nice man," Tess replied softly. "Unfortunately,
Zan grew up to be just like him."
~*~
I looked around the Crashdown and the lunch crowd from hell. I hated
working here. But, I needed to pay rent, I needed to pay bills- I
needed the fucking money! "In an hour they will all
be gone!" I muttered to myself as I flipped the burgers. I wish
Maria was working. Hell, I'd even settle for Liz. "Order
up!" I cried as I placed the plates on the ledge. Looking up
I saw Alex starring at me and then he quickly looked away. How odd.
I watched as the four interacted with each other as the huddled in
the booth. Kyle and Tess seemed very friendly to each other and Alex
and Isabel were too. "What the hell?" I cursed
to myself. Something was going on...
I turned back to the grill trying to forget about them and their disturbing
behavior. I tried to forget that they were even there, but it didn't
work.
An hour later my shift was over and they were still there. Not being
able to take their awkward glances anymore, I marched up to them.
"Hi!" Tess and Isabel purred. "What's
going on?" I asked pulling up a chair up to the booth.
"Nothing," Alex replied quickly. "We were
just remembering the past." Kyle added.
I looked at the couples in front of me. When the Hell did they become
couples? The past? Yhea, whatever- "No really, what are the four
of you up to?" "Nothing, much." Tess replied
softly, she was practically sitting on top of Kyle. What is going
on? I felt like I had gone through a time warp.
I could feel Alex staring at me again. I looked at him and Alex glanced
back towards Isabel- Isabel's hands were all over him. "All
right!" I cried standing up. "Some one better start telling
me what is going on!" The group looked up at me in surprise.
"Whatever," I replied after an awkward silence
fell over the group. I got up and walked out the door.
They don't want to tell me. Fine! I don't need them!
I started walking towards my apartment. I ducked into an alley as
I heard someone following me. I focused my energy, ready to strike
the person following me. "Alex!" I cried as I recognized
the face in the shadows. "Can't you be more careful? I almost-"
"Get down!" He cried as he pushed me to the ground
and I watched in awe as he shot an energy blast over my head at an
apparent mugger. "What? How?" I mumbled unable
to comprehend what I had just seen. I was frozen in place. Alex remained
over me as Kyle rounded the corner. "Alex?" Kyle
inquired as he walked to the man crumbled on the ground. "You
have to be more careful." I then watched Kyle's hand glow as
he passed his hand over the man's head. "We have to get out of
here before he wakes up. I erased his memory-" Kyle briefly looked
at me.
I looked at the two in front of me. They were definitely not human-
they were aliens!! "What the hell just happened?"
"It's a long story," Kyle replied as he looked
over at Alex.
"I have all night!" I cried getting up. "You two are
not leaving my sight until you explain!"
~
Michael sat in a state of shock. I had told him everything that I
knew. I did not plan on telling him the truth so soon, but I knew
Alex was happy that we did. He had been dying to tell him since this
morning. "Okay." Michael sighed, "You two
are aliens. Kyle is Khivar and Max's twin brother."
"Yes," I replied softly. "Essentially everything
in the destiny book was a fabrication designed by the King in order
for Max to become King upon his return." Michael mumbled as he
looked up at me. "The royal council found out about his plans
and sent Jamzair to earth with you two in hopes that the original
royal four would reunite." Michael voice trailed off his gaze
landed on Alex. "Michael?" I asked noticing his
temper starting to flair. "I had a family and I didn't
even know it!" Michael cried standing up and walking over to
Alex. "Am I supposed to believe that you're my brother? That
our father chose to abandon us?" "Michael, I'm
starting to remember parts of our past-" Alex replied softly
standing up. "What?" Michael questioned taking
a step back. "How?" "If we make a connection,
maybe we will both remember?" Alex suggested as he reached out
to his brother. Michael hesitantly reached his hand out and touched
his.
Their breathing slowed down as they closed their eyes. The air around
me tingled with energy.
I watched in amazement as a light started to glow between them. The
light continued to grow as it formed a hologram picture between them.
It was amazing-
I could feel their emotions.
The images were vibrant with color. I had stepped into their memories.
I watched as two toddlers played in a yard with blue grass and a green
sky. Their laughter light and carefree. Time passed quickly as I watched
the toddlers grow up into two young boys. Their bond growing stronger,
I could feel the brotherly love between them- I was jealous.
Scenes of the two playing tricks at school and playing with their
Father as their Mother looked on passed quickly. Their laughter and
happiness turned quickly into sadness as I watched the two of them
at a funeral paying their last respects to their Mother.
Their innocence was shattered, but their loss brought them together.
I continued to watch as the two teenage boys were being fitted for
military uniforms, their feelings of sadness and sense of obligation
overfilled me as they left their home planet to fulfill the peace
keeping mission.
I could feel my own memories rise up and merge with theirs as they
met the King's sons. We were to be the royal four.
Images of meetings and fights flashed between the three of us. The
energy in the air became electric. In a flash I was standing in a
battle field. I looked around to see Alex heading towards me.
"Watch out!!" He cried as I felt a stabbing pain in
my abdomen.
I turned to see Max standing over me with a dagger in his hand. I
began to fall. "Zan!! No!!" Alex's cried.
I looked at Max as an unseen amount of rage and hate filled my body.
I tried to move, but I could not. "Khivar?" Alex
called to me as I blinked up at him. "There is so much blood!"
Alex cried as he looked at me. "Khivar?! Can you hear me?"
I could sense his fear as he tried to stop the bleeding. "Look
at me, I need to form-" "No!" Max cried as
he pulled Alex away, it was getting so dark. I could feel my life
draining away. "Tell her, I love her." I whispered
as everything turned black.
